A Piggy Bank for All My Money! | How Much Did I Spend Last Week? Jan 10-16, 2022

I bought a $5 piggy bank this week (I stg it was $5 – I have no idea why it’s $14 online). It feels as though there’s a certain irony to that; I, once again, spent a stupid amount of money on a stupid variety of things (lol variety! Mostly Starbucks on Uber Eats, to be honest). But it’s okay because I bought a piggy bank! (Right now it has two $20 notes in it. TWO! $20 NOTES! Usually piggy banks are reserved solely for coins, but I had the notes and thought, maybe if I put them in here I’ll forget about them.

The fact that I am now writing about said notes suggests, I know, that I will not be forgetting about them any time soon. Still, isn’t it good to have a bit of cash to hand, for emergencies? (Mum, I know you’re nodding along with this.)

Quite aside from which, isn’t the piggy bank cute?! And it was reduced to $5! It practically bought itself.
