Or, what has been distracting me from my woes lately

(Once again, I’m sorry there’s no audio for this essay! Once I’m better I’ll try to go through and add voiceovers to any I’ve missed, but I’m still struggling to catch my breath a lot of the time and have to record the podcast later on today so I’m trying to save the vocal cords. Pls forgive me!)

It’s a long list.

The last fortnight has seen our house plagued by a series of lurgies: a vomiting bug, strep throat, a sinus infection and a nine-year-old recovering from having his tonsils and adenoids removed, and as a result I feel as though I have done 10,000 loads of washing and like I haven’t left the house in a fortnight.

Probably because I haven’t.
