Last week’s money diary – in which I embarked upon the mammoth task of paying for the birth of my child, and trying to understand said process – got a lot of responses, mostly in terms of questions around how this whole US healthcare lark works. (The short answer: I have zero clue!)
I thought I’d write a dedicated piece about my experiencing giving birth in the US, both from a financial point of view and also detailing the other bits and bobs that might be unique to the US of A. If you have any questions pertaining to same (nothing is considered too nosy in my mind!), please do leave them in the comments below and I’ll hopefully get to them all.
Now, to my weekly wanton disregard for the concepts of saving for retirement…
