Monday
Let me tell you for nothing, my life has become a Groundhog’s Day of baby-minding. I get up outrageously, offensively early with Atlas and we begin our cyclical routine of nappy-changing, feeding and sleeping, in that order and usually all (with the exception of the nappy part) done while clinging on to my hands, shoulders or breasts.
Today is no different. I finish watching Being Mary-Jane on Hulu (disappointing finale). I resume watching The Bold Type (ridiculous show). I resolve to watch either The Sopranos or The Wire next, neither of which I’ve ever seen.
I eat a bagel for breakfast, toast for lunch and cereal for dinner because I am healthy.
I spend no money, yet my bank sees fit to charge me an overdraft fee for a direct debit that came out of my (very empty) bank account yesterday. Roll on payday – Wednesday. ($33)
