After what felt like, honestly, a much longer build-up than it was, Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman in Me, is here. It’s a super-quick read (five hours on Audible) and while the information therein isn’t all brand new, I felt like there was enough information I didn’t already know that made it a worthwhile read.
Did you read it? Will you read it? What are your thoughts on the book – and what are your hopes for Britney? (I personally would love a return to making great music and performing like the pop queen she is… but I can accept that she’d probably be a lot better off being totally left alone to live her life in peace and do only the things she truly wants to do.)
I got it this morning and am almost done it. It's good. A journey through her life starting with her grandparents and what went thru there and she seems to have a good hold of what trauma really is and has forgiven a lot of people for their wrongdoings. I hope the best for her-- to live in peace and maybe some dancing (without knives please) on her socials. Xoxo.

Just downloaded it. Was in a bookshop in Charlestown this morning and apparently they can’t keep it on the shelves.
