I’m Rosemary: journalist, writer, podcaster and (relatively) recent emigrée! In March of 2020 I moved from Dublin, Ireland, where I’d lived all my life, to Fort Wayne, Indiana on a two-year visa, thinking, I’ll spend some time in the US – sure, why not?
Two and a half years, one marriage, one baby, two stepsons, one house, for crying out loud… and it’s safe to say there’s no going back. You can read more about my “journey” here.
I write a lot about emigration and the culture clash I feel as an Irish person in the US, but you’ll also find essays on fashion and feminism, motherhood and movies, parenting, body image and a lot more.
